Victor Oppenheimer is president of Cambridge Computer Associates, Inc.
Mr. Oppenheimer has a rich background in the computer industry.
He is an accomplished executive, a talented software and system designer and programmer, a strategic consultant, and a technical leader and educator.
Mr. Oppenheimer has been a member of the Boards of Directors of many organizations including nine companies in the high-technology field. These include Cambridge Computer Associates, Inc.; Sandstorm Enterprises, Inc., an information security tools company, The Arcon Group, Inc., a rehabilitative medicine research and consulting company; Kedem Associates, a company specializing in Information Science applications in BioTech; O’Reilly & Associates,Inc., a technical publishing company; CentNet Inc., an Internet Service Provider; and Yoga.Com, a WWW e-commerce company. He also serves as a member of the advisory board of The Winthrop Health Group, a medical applications company.
He has acted as Director of Research and Development and Acting Director of Operations at New England Education Data Systems, a data-processing research and service subsidiary of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Earlier, he was a scientific programmer with Avco-Everett Research Laboratories in Everett, Massachusetts.
He is a former Chair of the Boston Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery.
He has been a faculty member of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Physical Mendicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and has lectured extensively both domestically and abroad.
